About This Project
La colección Zesta nace de un gesto: una curva en tensión, elegante y precisa, inspirada en la forma icónica de la cesta del Jai Alai. Esa silueta envolvente define el carácter de cada pieza, trazando un respaldo continuo que abraza el cuerpo y sugiere movimiento incluso en reposo.
El diseño combina una estructura ligera de líneas limpias con un tejido manual que aporta calidez y textura. Cada asiento y respaldo está cuidadosamente entrelazado, creando una superficie flexible y resistente que dialoga con el entorno exterior. La repetición del trenzado no solo cumple una función ergonómica, sino que también introduce un ritmo visual que evoca tradición artesanal reinterpretada en clave contemporánea.
Zesta equilibra precisión y organicidad: la firmeza del armazón contrasta con la suavidad del tejido, mientras que su curvatura continua invita a una experiencia de descanso natural y envolvente. Pensada para espacios exteriores, la colección transmite ligereza, sofisticación y un vínculo sutil con el movimiento y la cultura, convirtiendo cada pieza en un gesto de diseño sereno y atemporal.
The Zesta collection is born from a gesture: a taut, elegant, and precise curve, inspired by the iconic shape of the Jai Alai basket. This enveloping silhouette defines the character of each piece, tracing a continuous backrest that embraces the body and suggests movement even at rest.
The design combines a lightweight, clean-lined structure with handwoven fabric that adds warmth and texture. Each seat and backrest is carefully interwoven, creating a flexible yet resilient surface that engages with the surrounding environment. The repeated weaving not only serves an ergonomic function but also introduces a visual rhythm that evokes artisanal tradition reinterpreted in a contemporary style.
Zesta balances precision and organic form: the firmness of the frame contrasts with the softness of the fabric, while its continuous curve invites a natural and enveloping relaxation experience.
