Cada alfombra de esta colección nace de la lana natural y de una memoria intima, la del abuelo pastor, que desde niño recorrió los prados, laderas y montañas de Euskal Herria guiando su rebaño de ovejas con su fiel acompañante de cuatro patas. Su vida, sencilla y entregada, es la raíz de estas piezas que cuentan la historia de una tierra y de quienes la habitan.

Las siluetas de los montes y cordilleras de Urkiola, Urbasa, Txindoki e Irimo se transforman en trazos y manchas que hacen alusión a relieves que recorren cada diseño como si fueran senderos tejidos con paciencia. Son formas que representan la quietud de la naturaleza cuando solo el viento habla entre las rocas y árboles.

Esta colección es un homenaje al pastoreo como modo de vida, a la relación respetuosa con el entorno, y a una herencia que se transmite no solo con palabras sino en gestos y texturas. Cada alfombra es una invitación a detenerse, a sentir bajo los pies la calidez de la lana y, con ella, el eco de los pasos de quienes caminaron antes por estos lares.

Each rug in this collection is born from natural wool and a deep memory, that of the shepherd grandfather, who as a child roamed the meadows, slopes, and mountains of the Basque Country, guiding his flock of sheep with his faithful four-legged companion. His simple and dedicated life is the root of these pieces, which tell the story of a land and its inhabitants.

The silhouettes of the mountains and ranges of Urkiola, Urbasa, Txindoki, and Irimo are transformed into lines and stains that allude to reliefs that run through each design like patiently woven paths. They are shapes that represent the stillness of nature when only the wind speaks between the rocks and trees.

This collection is a tribute to shepherding as a way of life, to a respectful relationship with the environment, and to a heritage that is transmitted not only with words but also in gestures and textures.
